A Happier Hour

I don’t know if you’ve heard, but New Balance is doing some pretty cool stuff lately. Whether it’s kicking off the Brooklyn Half-Marathon with a Pre-Party or supporting #biketoworkday, there up to some good stuff. Like, really good. And the best yet? New Balance’s Girls Night Out (otherwise known as #NBGNO). Last night I stopped by their Boylston Street shop for a run and launch party for this new movement for a “happier hour”.

It all started with a 4 mile run along the Charles River. There was such an empowering feeling to be pounding the pavement with a group of fit women in the city!

And party we did! Check out a few scenes from the girls-only event!

Shoes and drinks, galore! I stuck to the “Fresh Foam Lemonade”.

Not everyday that you see sports bras and cocktails all at one event. Everyone was checking out the pictures from the photobooth!

Everyone gathering round the bar and swapping fitness finds, tips, and tricks!

It was truly and incredible event and an even better idea! Excited to see how we can change the idea of fitness and friendships with this twist on the girls night out!

Going out for a run with your girlfriends? Tag it with #NBGNO! And don’t forget to check out their site and find runs and events in your area! (Psst.. Boston, there will be another event in June!)
